Proportion & Scale Architects is a full-service architecture firm specializing in sustainable and energy-efficient homes & commercial buildings. The use of earthen based and locally sourced building materials such as adobe and rammed earth along with energy modelling and passive solar designs, allow for minimal energy usage. This provides an attainable reduction in your carbon footprint allowing for a net-zero sustainable future living situation. Custom residential and commercial designs are welcome and treated with great care to create a better building for you and yours!
DANIEL A. PADUCHOWSKI
Proportion & Scale Architects is led by a registered Architect, Daniel Paduchowski, licensed in the State of Arizona with over 25 years of experience in the northern Arizona region. Daniel was trained by Design Group Architects, a world renowned architectural design firm in Sedona. This experience gave Daniel exposure to a very open and collaborative design process that touched on many aspects of architectural design that most Architects do not provide. The extreme attention to detail from the very beginning of analyzing a building site to the final detailing of the construction documents, provided insight into the well thought out and collaborative method of architectural design that has been passed down for generations of Architects. Daniel carries this collaborative working environment into his current practice by working hand in hand with Architects-in-Training who work together and bring shared values to the office space.
Daniel currently lives in Flagstaff with his wife and two children.

BROOKE WHITEHURST
Proportion & Scale Architects is assisted by Architectural Associate, Brooke Whitehurst, with experience in bringing designs to life through 3D modeling and detailed drafting. She earned her Master of Architecture degree with a certificate in Health Systems & Design from Texas A&M University, and is currently designing and working on becoming a licensed architect in Flagstaff. She grew up with a passion for helping people and a passion for creativity, and she is grateful for the opportunity to work in a field that combines the two through thoughtful design and collaboration.
Brooke lives in Flagstaff with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, and they enjoy hiking on the weekends and volunteering with local shelters.
